This series began with a choice to walk a different path.
Instead of taking the sidewalks, I moved through the alleys. The pace changed. So did the perspective.
These images were made using infrared, film, and digital cameras. Each approach offered something different, but the goal remained the same.
The Other Way is about slowing down and noticing what usually goes unseen. It is about paying attention to what has always been there, just beyond the obvious.
